Interviewing Our First Caregiver

We thought we were looking for qualifications. We discovered we were really looking for trust.

A few months ago, I never imagined I’d be sitting across the kitchen table interviewing someone to help care for my wife’s mother.

Like many families, we assumed that if we ever needed help, we’d simply hire a caregiver through an agency and trust the process.
